Beaver Creek Nature Area:  Located in the southeastern part of the state near Sioux Falls, Beaver Creek Nature area is a 165 acre facility comprised of prairie and dense forest.  This day use only park has hiking facilities and is close to Palisades State Park, Big Sioux Recreation Area, Newton Hills State Park, and Pipestone National Monument in Minnesota.  You can call the South Dakota at (605)773-3391, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST for more information on Beaver Creek Nature Area.
