White Water Rafting- Oregon
Drive through the Umpqua National Forest on Oregon State Highway 138 and you drive through a lush green wilderness of towering pines along spires and cliffs that resemble the Black Hills of South Dakota. ?Passing to your left and to your right are a number of rivers that provide rafting, canoeing, and kayaking opportunities.
On an unknown river an unknown group of rafters setup to take a Class II+/III- rapid, one of many that are intermixed with placid areas of flat water. ?You can almost feel the cool spray of the water, running down from the Cascades.
